Chris Sharma: The Legacy Continues
[翻譯] Chris Sharma 炫目的攀岩生涯開始於14歲時贏得全國的抱石賽冠軍，一年之後，他完成了當時美國最困難的路線 5.14c。接著的十年間，他將攀岩提昇到一個新的層次。最近剛被票選為 8a 十年來最佳攀岩者的他，不斷動搖所謂難度的概念。他已完成好幾條5.15，抱石達V15，onsight 5.14b，並完成高難度的深水獨攀。他完攀了位於加州的 Jumbo Love ，那是美國也可能是全世界最困難的路線。今年 Chris Sharma 手邊有不少事正在進行，在西班牙有了新房子，建立了好幾條515，每天和女友 Daila Ojeda 攀岩。他的住處附近被視為攀岩的熱門地點，有超過70條的漂亮裂隙和石灰岩洞穴，似乎有無限的可能性。看來他有不少時間去精熟他的西班牙口音...

Pachamama 5.15
在2009年5月29日瞎馬完成了位於西班牙 Oliana 的 Pachamama 路線，難度為 F9a+。此路線長 45 米，在抱石起攀後，有連續的外傾和 不少動態動作，且邊緣手點非常難抓。路線名稱是安地斯山原住民所敬畏的女神名，意類同於大地之母。瞎馬自去年冬天開始嘗試此路線，他認為這條路線比他在西班牙曾爬過的 F9a+ 都要來得難，這條路線的風格（抗力？resistant style）不是他最擅長的，他可以想像這路線可能更適合於其他人。
影片中是三月時拍的，當時瞎馬尚未一次完攀此路線（而且髮型不同）。這段影片將出現於 BigUp 下部影片 Progression 中。

抱石 Bishop CA
Sharma 在去委內瑞拉之前，回加州 Bishop 去重獲抱石力量（瞎馬是加州人）。同時抱石的還有當時20 歲，被瞎馬形容非常飢餓（hungry）渴望新事物的 Ethan Pringle ，完成路線 the beautiful and damned (這美麗的與該死的，V13)，當他爬到頂端時，也難免大喊：我的天啊，好恐怖喲（that's so scary）。根據瞎馬的說法，此線大約 35 英呎（約十米），將抱石提昇到另一層次，挑戰自我恐懼，因為害怕中途墜落會斷條腿之類的。

"I'm still not totally sure on the grade, but it is comparable in some ways to Jumbo Love except the bottom is probably harder and the top a bit easier and less overhanging. I'll have to try some other routes to compare a bit more before I'm sure about the grade."

瞎馬 Onsights Two 5.14's
這張照片看來有點詭異，瞎馬沒頭，真的瞎了...瞎馬前幾週重返美國猶它州的楓樹峽谷（Maple Canyon, Utah），onsight 了兩條 5.14 的路線。在 onsight 其中一條 Divine Fury (5.14b)的中途，他決定脫掉上衣，上圖即為脫衣過程的照片。因中途沒有留意幾處重要的 kneebars，該路線他一共花了 24 分鐘（引自 climbing news）。

攀岩世界錦標賽剛剛在西班牙結束，結果已出爐。其中最大贏家是俄羅斯，在各項目共計得了七面獎牌，一改過去由法國主導的局面。台灣選手張志瑋的排名是第 69 名。錦標賽中最引人注目的是女子難度的 superfinal，由20 歲奧地利的Angela Eiter 對上 33 歲來自比利時的老手 Muriel Sarkany ，由於兩人由初賽至決賽皆完攀，因此加賽一場。Superfinal 的路線是將男子決賽路線再加兩個點，主要是因身高考量，兩位女選手身高都只有約 155 cm ，Eiter 在此路線的最後高度勝過七名男子決賽選手。
Muriel Sarkany 在1990 年代縱橫女子攀岩界，2004 年後不參與競賽，最近一年才復出。
上面的照片分別是女子和男子難度金牌 Ramon Julian Puigblanque （西班牙）。
Ramon Julian 身高僅 159 cm ，最有名的是在 2003 完攀 La Rambla Direct 難度 5.15a，Sharma 等人在去年完成此路線。一如往常，能夠找到的影片 Sharma 的永遠拍得比較好。以下就來離題一下，介紹這兩部短片，以安慰大家中秋連假後上班的無奈心情：

委內瑞拉 Monte Roraima
